We found a beautiful little gelding 2 miles from the sanctuary. His owners felt they were not experienced enough to train him. He had been living with them for 3 years, since he was a weanling, and was without other horses for companionship. He has lovely manners and is gentle and affectionate. He appears to be at least part mustang. Upon his arrival here, our local raven family came to meet him. Because he is also black, we have changed his name from Felix to “Raven”.

Thank you. He is enjoying playing with his bath tub full of water today. When it’s hot, they tend to hang around the water troughs, taking lots of little sips.
