This morning, we had a delivery of 66 bales of hay and other horse and pig feed, plus some scratch grain for the wild birds. I then spent a half hour wrestling with the hay tarps. It never fails, it is always windy on feed delivery day. The horses and burros always holler to the delivery truck as soon as it turns in the driveway. I honestly think they begin to get nervous when they see our hay pile dwindle down to 2 or 3 bales. “What a relief to know we have food enough to keep us alive another 2 months!”, they seem to say.

Carson had over 200 votes last time I looked, in the contest I wrote about yesterday. Many thanks to all his fans!

Tara is doing great, 3 months since her surgery. She always has a smug smile on her face.

Tara happy face!

I was reading in the Horse’s Hoof magazine that Australia has one million wild horses. How is it we cannot allow 30,000 to live in peace here?

Tara is so pretty! Voted for Mr Carson too!

Tara has that smug smile going on! Thank you. Carson appears to be miles ahead in the photo contest. Will be interesting to see if they will use his photo, or will they decide to use a “cuter” dog. We shall see!
