Animal Abuse Video Bill Advances

Farm Video Debate

Florida Bill Would Make It a Felony to Take a Picture of a Farm

From the last article:

“State Senator Jim Norman (R-Tampa) recently introducedS.B. 1246, which would make it illegal to create any image of a ‘farm or other property where legitimate agricultural operations are being conducted’ without the written consent of the owner………..
…Remarkably, as written the bill declares this to be a first-degree felony, which under Florida law carries a penalty of up to 30 years in prison. This would make taking a picture of a farm without permission a more serious offense in Florida than manslaughter.”

Farms with nothing to hide will not want or need this law. Farms with things to hide like this one talked about by Bob Barker will want this law. So how they vote tells us who they are and what they are up to.

You are right. Only animal abusers need to hide.
