Preparing for a new mustang- Flash

Our friend Soso Whaley is a horse trainer who recently moved from New England to southern California. Like many of us, her heart is bigger than her pocketbook. She rescued 3 at risk mustangs and spent time rehabbing them. One is called Flash. He is very people-oriented. After getting some weight on him and riding him a few months, Soso had tried to sell him and was planning to donate the money to JERAS. In this depressed economy,  no acceptable home offers came along. Since we just lost Tonka, and because all our horses are not sound, Soso offered to give him to us so that he could be safe and I could continue his training, making him more adoptable should anything happen to me and he finds himself in need of a good home in the future.

We are looking forward to getting little Flash here. He is 8 years old and 13.2 hh. He somehow had ended up at an auction in Kentucky and luckily was bought by a couple and not sent to slaughter. However, they  did not do much with him and he was eventually sent west. He somehow got stuck on a three week trailer ride and arrived in Ca. skinny and traumatized. Soso got him shortly after that misadventure.

Flash has a Chipin, as we are asking for donations to help get him here. Any help is greatly appreciated and tax deductible.
